and see how the artists that dreamed up a snowy North Pole last winter, really live in their little homes, how they shop and how they work on the large farms and orchards or in the few factories the Village has.
This tiny town hosts happy people, that Bap on their free evenings but now enjoy Springtime.

On Joe's farm life is still lived as a 150 years ago, when the Village was founded. No electrical tools were introduced until this day as is told in the Annals of  the Historical Society.
The coming of a frivolous Ice Cream Shop was dreaded by Joe, but the especially Hollanders Family makes the short stroll for 'een ijsje' very often on warm spring evenings.

The stately homes in Victoria Street Park were constructed in the early 1800's by the Village of Freeland native Brian Cyclepuppy.  These homes are currently in the Village of Freeland historical registry and most of them have been home to many prominent residents of the village.
The home at  471 Victoria Street was once the home to world renown author Melvill Herman who wrote the novel "A Boy and His Whale."
The house at 464 Victoria is believed to be haunted by the ghost of  Cyclepuppy himself. It is said that on certain nights in early April walks the short route to the grey rowhouse, where he meets his fellow the Ghost of Gemika.
467 is the home of Dr. Francis N. Stein. They say he spends a lot of time in the basement.

As you may recall, Miss Jean opened a Bed
and Breakfast some time ago. Well....seems her little venture was wildly successful and she recently sold it for a little over 100 Million Dollars.
Miss Jean had always dreamed of being a society maven
The best way she knew how to break into this
world of rich and famous was to buy a horse farm.
She found this little gentlemans horse farm up for sale - lock stock
and barrel. It was called Whispering Glen Farms, referred to by people as the Dude Ranch. She the names sounded exotic and would surely endear her to the Junior League. Now she'd
have reason to attend the Kentucky Derby, but more
importantly, reason to go out and buy a new hat at Hatties for the
fashion parade.
